Since its foundation in the year 1982 by Hon. Prof. Dr. Gottfried Korn, emeritus lawyer, Korn Rechtsanwälte OG (Korn Attorneys at Law) focusses on all areas concerning “Media” in the broadest sense. Stefan Korn has been managing partner of Korn Attorneys at Law since January 2007. From 1996 until 2002 he was assistant at the University of Vienna in the department of commercial and business law.
The topic of his (doctoral) dissertation/thesis (2004) was neighbouring (copy)rights of football event organiser and football players, its commercialisation and restriction of the commercialisation.
Currently he is also a lecturer at the University of Vienna and the Danube University Krems as well as a member of the second senate of the national Austrian Football League.

Alexandra Thurner, partner at the law firm Korn Rechtsanwälte OG, has worked as a lawyer since 2013. She teaches Contract Law and Copyright Law at the University of Applied Arts Vienna as well as European and International Copyright Law in an English language LLM Program in European and International Business Law offered by the University of Vienna. She co-authored a commentary on the Austrian Copyright Act (eds. Thiele/Burgstaller, 4th edition 2022) and published expert articles on media law and copyright law. She is also a substitute member of the Austrian Ski Association’s court.

Rupert Schrammel joined Korn Attorneys at Law in 2007, since 2019 working as an attorney at law in cooperation with Korn Attorneys at Law. In 2005 he graduated at the University of Vienna in Law. Subsequently, he collected valuable experience during his judicial clerkship at a district court in Vienna as well as at the regional court of Vienna for Civil matters.
In July 2012 he passed his Bar Exam. Rupert Schrammel advises and represents in all matters concerning labour and social law. Additionally, he teaches Labour Law at the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt (FHWN).
Since January 2022 Rupert Schrammel is partner at the law firm Korn Rechtsanwälte OG.

Marcus Korn started working as an associate Korn Attorneys at Law in 2017. In 2012 he graduated at the University of Vienna in Law. Already during his studies he focused on intellectual property law. After his judicial clerkship at the commercial court of Vienna he earned a post graduate degree in Intellectual Property law and Knowledge Management (LL.M.) at the University of Maastricht. Subsequently Marcus Korn was employed at a prestigious international law firm based in Vienna. In February 2017 he passed the Bar Exam and has been working at Korn Attorneys at Law ever since.

Gottfried Korn earned his Doctor of law in 1970. After two years working as an assistant at the University of Vienna he changed to the private sector, where he worked for Austrian media companies (Austrian national public service broadcaster, ORF, and the daily newspaper, Kurier). From 1982 until 2022 he was Attorney at Law in Vienna.
In 1999 Gottfried Korn was appointed honorary professor for media- and communication law at the University of Vienna (Department of Communication).
Moreover Gottfried Korn is chairman of the neutral arbitration court of the Austrian National Football league.
